I passed the IRS Enrolled Agent exam on my first try after studying for the exam for a full year. I learned how to manage an accounting business, branched out on my own, and successfully managed my own firm for over 25 years until I retired. I was never sued nor sanctioned during my career. I helped many individuals succeed in their own businesses, negotiating many obstacles outside their control. I helped many families put their kids through college, work and plan to retire with wealth, and developed great personal relationships with both colleagues and clients along the way. I helped plan for my Dad’s early retirement and kept my parents books for over 30 years until they died. I practiced focused continuing education with the needs of my family and client base in mind. I became certified in Professional Fiduciary Management for Trustees specifically to help my family safeguard and pass down assets. I have enjoyed my career and the ongoing education gained over the years, however, I feel my greatest accomplishment is retiring at 55 after significant sacrifice, consistent planning, and a huge amount of luck.
