G'MA McFATE'S ROLLS

2 cup warm milk (microwave 4 minutes to scald ~ watch it!!)

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp Fleishman's bread yeast

4 eggs, beaten

6 cup flour +/-


Add 1 tsp sugar to 1/2 cup warm water. Add yeast, mix and set aside.

In mixing bowl, cream butter, 1/2 cup sugar and salt.

Slowly add milk, mix. Add beaten eggs, mix.

Once yeast has activated, add and mix.

Add flour and mix.

Knead dough on floured surface until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled (1-1.5 hours.) Punch it down and let it rise once more.

Once dough has doubled twice (punched down once!) divide the dough into smaller pieces, roll into a ball, smoosh it a bit, coat it in butter, fold it in half and place it on a prepared baking sheet.

Cover the baking sheet and let rolls rise.

Bake at 350* for 20 minutes.
